GTWCEU - Round 7 : Magny-Cours
The penultimate round of the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup took place at Magny-Cours. In Race 1, the no. 51 Ferrari 296 GT3 of AF Corse - Francorchamps Motors, driven by Alessio Rovera and Vincent Abril, was forced to retire early after being hit by a McLaren, which later received a drive-through penalty. The crew bounced back in Race 2, securing fourth place on Sunday.
For the sister car, the no. 50 Ferrari 296 GT3 of AF Corse - Francorchamps Motors, Arthur Leclerc and Thomas Neubauer finished twelfth in Race 1. In Race 2, however, Neubauer made contact with another car shortly after exiting the pits, an incident that led to a penalty for the duo. They eventually crossed the line in tenth position.
