P2 and P4 at Misano Sprint Cup

At the Misano round of the GT World Challenge Europe - Sprint Cup, the Ferrari 296 GT3 driven by Alessio Rovera and Vincent Abril delivered a strong performance, securing second place in Race 1 and finishing fourth in Race 2.

Competing for AF Corse - Francorchamps Motors, the duo started the weekend on a high note by clinching pole position in the first qualifying session. They led the opening race for most of the stint, defending the top spot with determination before being overtaken just seven minutes from the finish. In the second race, Rovera and Abril once again showed consistent pace, staying among the frontrunners and eventually crossing the line just shy of the podium.

Meanwhile, the number 50 car of Arthur Leclerc and Thomas Neubauer faced a more challenging weekend. Their Race 1 ended prematurely due to involvement in early-race incidents that affected several competitors. Race 2 saw them finish in 24th place.

Next: The Sprint Cup action continues in two weeks at Magny-Cours in France, where the AF Corse - Francorchamps Motors team will look to build on the momentum.
