Fighting to the Podium at Spa 24 Hours

Francorchamps Motors celebrated a hard-fought podium finish in the Pro category at the the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, the third round of both the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup and the Intercontinental GT Challenge.

 

The AF Corse - Francorchamps Motors number 51 Ferrari 296 GT3, driven by official Ferrari drivers Alessandro Pier Guidi, Alessio Rovera, and Vincent Abril, claimed third place overall after a determined comeback. Despite dropping down the order to beyond 60th place in the early hours due to brake issues, the crew kept pushing and eventually crossed the line in fourth, moving up to third after a post-race penalty for a rival.

 

The team’s second Pro car, the number 50 Ferrari 296 GT3 with Arthur Leclerc, Antonio Fuoco, and Eliseo Donno, narrowly missed out on the podium, finishing in fourth place overall after running consistently at the front throughout the gruelling 24-hour race.


Both entries showcased impressive pace and resilience, securing valuable points for the championship.


Next stop: the Sprint Cup in Misano on July 19th-20th.
